ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Course

Our online course provides all of the ISO 14001 knowledge you need, along with specialized instruction for becoming a certification auditor of Environmental Management Systems. Designed for beginners to both environmental management and certification audits, our course requires no prior knowledge or expertise.

The course exam is certified by Exemplar Global (previously known as RABQSA). Upon successful completion of the exam, we will issue you a certificate. This certificate is proof of your newly acquired competency in Environmental Management Systems, as well as your ability to conduct certification audits and to lead audit teams.

This course is divided into three components: video lectures to watch, a workshop to attend, and an exam to take online. Each of these components gets you one step closer to becoming certified as an ISO 14001 certification auditor. STEP 1: Watch video lectures

This part of the course is completely free. It is arranged into 12 modules, with each module containing a number of video lectures and other activities to speed up your learning, plus a practice exam to help you prepare for the certification exam. You can see the content of each module in the curriculum above. The video lectures are all recorded in advance, so you can watch them whenever you like, wherever you like.

Your instructors for this course are Garry Cornell and Strahinja Stojanovic. Garry is deeply experienced in ISO standards, having worked as a consultant, a senior manager, and a certification auditor. He has worked with businesses worldwide, in many types of industries, helping them with the implementation and continual improvement of their management systems. Strahinja has extensive experience as a certification auditor, a consultant, and a trainer in ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001. He has also authored dozens of articles featured on the leading ISO 14001 blog, and the ISO 14001 Documentation Toolkits.

STEP 2: Attend a workshop

It’s difficult to develop the skills necessary to conduct certification audits by only watching video lectures. This is why we created an interactive workshop, which you may attend either in a physical classroom or through an online webinar. This one-day workshop will allow you to gain practical knowledge of the steps in a certification audit, utilizing role playing activities, case studies, and other resources. You’ll also learn soft skills that will help you in preparation for the certification exam, as well as in the field as a certification auditor.

Once you have watched the video lectures and participated in the workshop, you will be eligible for the certification exam. Because this exam is online, you may take it from anywhere, at a time that’s convenient for you.

When you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate approved by Exemplar Global (previously known as RABQSA). This certification is recognized around the world as evidence that you are authorized to conduct certification audits for ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

The exam fee is built into the price of the workshop, so once you have booked your workshop, you will also have access to the exam.
